Knox County Covid-19 Positive Rate

Knox County Covid-19 Positive Rate

According to Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs, Knox County has performed over 16,000 Covid-19 tests. This number does not include the tests that have been performed by private providers which means the actual number of total tests is much higher.

Knox County has had 410 positive cases of Coronavirus. If the county had performed exactly 16,000 tests, then the positive rate of Covid-19 tests in Knox County would be 2.6%. But as previously stated, the actual number of tests has been higher than 16,000 meaning that the positive rate is even lower.

Knox County has seen a steady increase in cases over the last seven days and there are currently 70 active cases as of Monday afternoon. Also as of Monday afternoon, there are no Covid-19 related hospitalizations within the county and five total deaths.
