The Knox County Health Department is continuing to encourage people who may experience Covid-19 symptoms to go and get a free test.
Martha Buchanan, director of KCHD, says there are more symptoms now than there used to be.
“Fever, cough, shortness of breath, there’s also a loss of smell or tastes, some folks experience nausea and vomiting with Covid-19, fatigue, sometimes you just don’t feel good, and headache,” Buchanan listed. “The list has gotten longer as time has gone by.”
If you experience any symptoms and feel as if you need a test, you are encouraged to. Knox County has capabilities to test a high number of citizens. Tennessee has also been deemed by a study from the Harvard Global Heath Institute as the best testing state in the United States.
