The Knoxville Police Department is searching for a suspect in a shooting.

Police responded to the 1100 block of Daylily Drive around 9 last (Sunday) night. They found a male victim in front of an apartment complex suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the UT Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.

The incident is not believed to be random in nature. There are no suspects in custody but the suspect vehicle is possibly a silver four-door sedan. Anyone with information relevant to the investigation is urged to contact police.
