The woman put kerosene in a wood burning stove and had several propane heaters, according to the Blount County Sheriff’s Office.

Brush Fire Spreads to “Other Structures”

Rural Metro Fire is on the scene of a brush fire that spread to “several structures” in North Knox County.

The fire is located on the 8600 block of Foust Hollow Roa. Officials are asking people to avoid the area. Rural Metro representatives told WVLT News that as of 3 p.m. Friday, the fire was only affecting abandoned buildings. He added however that the fire was spreading to homes.
