1/07/25 UPDATE: (WOKI) The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has ended the Silver Alert for a missing Greene County man as 60-year-old Danny Smith has been found safe. He was last seen Sunday in his home in the 400 block of Mulberry Road in Greeneville.

UPDATE: The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has upgraded the search for missing Greene County man, Danny Smith, to a Silver Alert.

Greeneville, TN (WOKI) The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in their search for a missing man.

GCSO officials say 60-year-old Danny Smith was last seen Sunday around 11:00 p.m. in his home in the 400 block of Mulberry Road in Greeneville.

The family reportedly told GSCO that Smith has severe Alzheimer’s, though it is not diagnosed.

Smith is believed to have left on foot in an unknown direction of travel. Authorities say he was last seen wearing jeans, a gray sweatshirt and a maroon shirt.
