An Investigation is Underway Following a Two-Alarm House Fire in East Knox County

An investigation is underway following a two alarm house fire in East Knox County.

Rural Metro Fire crews along with the Knox County Sheriff’ Office responding to the fire in the 7600 block of Millertown Pike early last night (Sunday).

The Knoxville Fire Department says the fire involved a two-story house and multiple structures and areas of brush.  
A large plume of smoke from the fire could be seen from several miles away.

Rural Metro’s Jeff Bagwell says no injuries were reported and most of the pets were accounted for.

KCSO’s fire investigators will lead the investigation into the cause and origin of the fire.
