Missing Clarksville Woman Found Dead in Scott County, Husband Charged with Murder

Clarksville, TN (WOKI) A man is charged with murder after his missing wife’s body is found in Scott County.

Officials with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office say Megan Raymond of Clarksville was found on Saturday after a tip. Her husband, Dennis Raymond, has been arrested and charged with her murder.

Clarksville Police Department officials say Megan Raymond was reported missing on Friday and was last seen Thursday, February 27.

Taking to Facebook with the news of Megan Raymond’s body being found Saturday, Scott County Sheriff Brian Keeton thanked everyone who assisted in the effort to find Megan writing “Our hearts go out to her family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.”

The investigation is ongoing.
