Harrogate Restaurant Fire Deemed Accidental, Claiborne County Sheriff Says

Harrogate, TN (WOKI) We’re learning more now about Monday’s deadly restaurant fire in Claiborne County.

The fire at Bronco Mexican Restaurant in Harrogate prompted a response from several agencies. Officials with the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office say that after getting the fire under control, firefighters found a body inside; that person died of smoke inhalation.

The beloved restaurant was a total loss.

CCSO reporting Thursday, March 6 that the fire has been deemed accidental in nature.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is looking into the fire.
