Man Charged with Attempted Murder after Shooting in Sevierville

Sevierville, TN (WOKI) A man is charged with attempted first-degree murder after a shooting Tuesday on Tattle Branch Road in Sevierville.

Officials with the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office reporting the agency began investigating an alleged aggravated domestic assault related to a shooting incident on Tattle Branch Road.

SCSO says their investigation resulted in over 45 firearms being confiscated from a convicted felon and the arrest of Christoper Phillips.

Philips has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, among other charges.

He is currently in custody on a $300,000 bond.
