Knoxville Police are investigating a crash on I-275.
The 20-year-old driver, Eric Barnes, is facing at least one charge after crashing on I-275 North near Woodland Avenue last (Thursday) night.
Officers spotted the car going at least 85 mph and were notified that the car had driven off the roadway, through a barrier and down an embankment.
Four people were inside the car were all taken to the hospital. A 15-year-old passenger is in critical condition while the other three’s injuries are not life-threatening.
Barnes is charged with reckless endangerment and could face more charges.
