South Knox County Home Heavily Damaged in Fire

Knoxville, TN (WOKI) An investigation is underway following a South Knoxville house fire.

Rural Metro Fire Department crews were called to the home on Artekka Drive Thursday night just after 10:00 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a single family home heavily involved with fire and with multiple explosions from ammo inside the home.

Captain Jeff Bagwell says that home has been heavily damaged and no injuries were reported.

All the occupants of the home were outside when crews arrived.
