Knoxville’s Dogwood Arts Festival to Return for 64th Year

Knoxville, TN (WOKI) Now in its 64th year, the Dogwood Arts Festival is set to bring spring back to Knoxville’s World’s Fair Park this month.

The festival will return on April 25 and run through April 27, filling the park’s performance lawn, amphitheater and surrounding greenways.

The Dogwood Arts Festival is ranked in the top-10 in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice poll. This year’s event will include 100 artists, 38 live performances, a maker’s market and interactive workshops. Those interactive workshops cost $10 and include woodworking, printmaking and other crafty activities.

Starting April 27, 20 up-and-coming artists will sell their work for the first time at the emerging maker tent.

As for refreshments, festival-goers can expect food trucks, craft beer and cocktails.
