President-elect Donald Trump and news anchor George Stephanopoulos have been ordered to sit for depositions next week in Trump’s defamation suit against ABC News, a judge ruled Friday.
The deposition, if held next week, will take place as Trump is in the middle of putting together his Cabinet administration.
“I’m going to do everything in my power to make the president available,” agreed Trump’s lawyer, Alejandro Brito. “But there are limitations of my ability to do so. I have to factor the Secret Service into the equation.”
