Rep. Ben Cline, R-Va., said Tuesday on Newsmax that whether they get it done in one “big, beautiful” reconciliation bill or two, congressional Republicans will deliver on President-elect Donald Trump’s agenda when he takes office next week.
Cline, along with other members of the House Freedom Caucus, joined Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, over the weekend to discuss legislative strategies and policy goals before the Jan. 20 inauguration. The caucus is reportedly in favor of a two-bill approach to advance Trump’s legislative agenda, while Trump said he would like to see “one big, beautiful bill.”
Cline told said on “Wake Up America” that the one-bill approach versus the two-bill approach is “one of those discussion items that is going to be worked out by the conference.”
