VA’s Collins Cancels $178,000 Contract With Politico

The Trump administration continues to try to root out what it terms waste, fraud, and abuse from Biden administration holdovers, including what President Donald Trump has called “payoffs” for leftist media outlets.

The latest is a $178,000 Veterans Administration contract with Politico, which new VA Secretary Doug Collins said he has immediately spiked.

“Ran across a $178,000 contract VA had with Politico and we promptly canceled it,” Collins posted Monday morning on X. “That money can be better spent on Veterans health care!”
