Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump needs to “keep brining it back to his issues” in Tuesday’s debate, regardless of whatever Harris or the questioners say, presidential historian Craig Shirley told Newsmax on Saturday.
“There’s an old adage in politics that if they give you a question you don’t like, give them an answer they can’t use: He needs to bring the issue and bring the questions back to his core issues such as the economy, the border, and crime,” Shirley told Saturday’s “America Right Now.”
Political analyst Mark Halperin joined the conversation and said he does not think Harris “will play it safe.”
