The Democratic National Committee has hired former staffers behind the @KamalaHQ account during Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign to combat disinformation from the Trump administration in real time, according to Axios.

The team will focus on building a new @FactPostNews brand across various social media platforms, including Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads.

“The Republican disinformation machine is powerful, but we believe a stronger weapon is giving people the facts about how Trump and his administration are screwing over the American people,” the DNC “chief mobilization officer,” Shelby Cole, told Axios.
