Border czar Tom Homan told Newsmax on Tuesday that he’s seen “stuff” that suggests the person responsible for leaking Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid plans to the Los Angeles Times is connected to the FBI.

The LA Times reported on Friday that ICE officials were planning a “large-scale” immigration raid in the Los Angeles area, which was revealed by an internal government document reviewed by the newspaper. The publication did not say how it was able to review these plans, but the article prompted Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem to accuse the FBI of being “corrupt.”

“I’ve been on several of these operations,” Homan said on “Wake Up America” on Tuesday. “The men and women of the FBI, they’re great patriots. And they’re out there helping us to take public safety threats off the street.”
